Day 146

Today was gallery day. Quite busy – 8 people came in. We are getting known 🙂 Today’s picture is of the area I grew up. Cold, windy, industrial and yet eerie. Decaying a bit, and long before the gentrification. Visually, I prefer this era to what it is now.

  1. Interesting image.
It may be worth checking the levels of this one, certainly as shown here – the white end looks a little grey, I would expect the fringes of the clouds to be approaching paper white in their intensity – though I accept this may very well be the way you intended.

    • Hello, Stephen. Good to hear from you. You are right – I went back to the PSD and its white is white. I had no idea the conversion for web might cost me the white end. I will have to experiment and see what I can learn here. There’s always more to discover.

      • I use ‘save for web’ in photoshop, it seems to work most of the time, but I often add a little extra sharpening on top.
